DIY Christmas gifts

Hello mates!:)
It's nearly Christmas, so I thought that I could make a DIY Christmas gifts blog post as you can see from the title. The two last ones are very quick to made. If you're running out of time those are good options.

Knitted headband
If I started to explain how to make this knitted headband, it would be so difficult to understand. Here is an English link to how to make this and here is a Finnish one.

Christmas notebook
 For this you'll need:
notebook
scissors
coloured paper
glue
pens or pencils
printed tapes
Cut the paper to the right size and glue it on top of the notebook (I recommend to put the glue on top of the notebook cover NOT on to the paper). Let it dry and then start to decorate the notebook.
 Here is my finished notebook.:)

Christmas decoration
There are two ways to make this Christmas decoration.
For the first one you just use a single pipe cleaner, which meant for this context, not like the actual pipe cleaner.:D You make it to star shape and put a ribbon through it, so that you can hang it.
For the second one you'll need two of the pipe cleaners and shape them to stars and put them overlap as you can see from the picture. Then you put the ribbon through both of them.

This was a bit different type of blog post, but hope you like it. Let me now in the comments below that what Christmas related posts you would like to see.:)

How this can be possible?

Hi mates!:)
This one thing has been on my mind for a long time now. Probably I'm not the only one who feels this way, but the feeling is a bit surreal.
I don't know how many can relate to this. Sometimes I just feel like I'm from different country. I'm like having a identity crisis. It's maybe caused by internet because I interact with a lot of things from/about UK and the English language.
Some may think that this is just teenage thing because I think it's quite common to dream of living abroad. I miss UK and the English speaking people there, so I don't know where this comes from because I'm 100% Finnish, even though I have relatives living in Sweden and the States. I don't even know very well anyone how lives in the UK. Am I just obsessed of that country?

This is a thing I have to live with. Maybe someday I'm able to move to UK, but who knows. Somethings may happen for a reason and some just make you feel awful, we must live with them because there isn't a lot we can do. We can force ourselves but it doesn't always work.

This time I got a bit deeper things to say, even though my writing and describing is not that good but hopefully you got the point of it.
P.s. Tomorrow is 1st of December and I'm very excited. Gonna do some xmas related blog posts soon.:)

Thinking about the future...

What's up mates?:)
Last week I had my Mid-term break, but I'm not going to tell you about it.
Some of you maybe know that I'm a pre-DP year for IB. That is actually one of the reasons why I write this blog in English. It's like one way to get used to English.:)
But now I'm telling you about my dream studies for future.
Next January I'll be applying for UWC scholarship into one of UWC's school to do my IB Diploma. It's very difficult to get it, because nothing ventured, nothing gained.:D Probably I wouldn't apply for it, if my IB school offered visual arts.
After IB (if I get  even through the pre-DP) I would apply for college in somewhere around Scotland to study fashion or fashion designing. Most of the Scottish colleges requirement IB students to have visual arts and higher level English.

At the latest I have to send email messages to the colleges next autumn to ask if it's OK to do this art diploma instead of the visual arts. But if it's not enough I just have to apply only to that one which doesn't requirements visual arts and to the two Finnish universities that offer fashion designing.
I'm just a person, who likes to get to know different cultures and people all around the world. And somehow I feel more confident when I talk in English (my writing isn't that strong:D), I'm also a bit more open to people when I can talk to them in English. I have no idea where it's came from.

Thanks guys so much for reading this and be free to ask something in the comments. P.s. I'm so excited about the coming winter, even it's going to be colder.:)

Met Naag

Two days ago I got an opportunity to meet Janne, because he had a meet up at Glitter. I went there an hour before the  door opened and the line was already quite long in my opinion. There was a little text about that meet up in the local  newspaper on the following day (you can read it here).
It was really nice to meet Janne. I'm still happy and excited, because I really enjoyed it. He is just amazing and very  lovely person. During the meet up all Glitter's products were 50% discount, if you bought 3 or more so I got some  christmas presents too.
Even tough I was freezing outside, that evening was amazing and I'm really greatful for Janne that he was able to do  this.:)

Gaelic football match 4.10

I was watching a match between Oulu Irish Elks and Helsinki Harps on 4th of October. First there was the women's     match...

...and after it men's match, which Oulu Irih Elks won!:)

The matches were really interesting to watch and I enjoyed it. At the end it began to get chilly, but it wasn't that           bad.:D I'm so happy that Oulu won!:)
What do you think about gaelic football?
